There’s a difference between knowing Brainspotting and being able to embody it fully, to stay in the uncertainty where real healing happens, to clear your own limbic countertransference and follow the tail of the comet.
That’s what consultation is for, and it’s what this is.

What Consultation With Me Looks Like
Brainspotting consultation is not just a process of evaluation. It’s an embodied experience in which you are supported, and I serve as both your consultant and companion along your journey.
The depth to which your clients can heal is directly related to your capacity for attunement. And that capacity grows based on the depth of your own healing. This is the foundation everything else is built on.
What that means in practice: we don’t just review your cases. We explore what’s happening in the relational field between you and your clients. We look at your own nervous system responses in the work. We examine where your attunement is strong and where it might be contracting. We go into the dual attunement frame, both relational and neurobiological, working to clear your own limbic countertransference so you can stay in the uncertainty, follow the tail of the comet, and hold your clients in the places that are hardest to hold.
This is not about evaluating whether you’re doing it right. It’s about helping you become a more fully embodied Brainspotting practitioner, one who can follow their clients into the deep brain with confidence, steadiness, and genuine attunement.
Sessions are held primarily via Zoom. In person consultation in Ventura, CA is available upon request.

Your Path to Certification
Brainspotting certification is awarded by Brainspotting Trainings, LLC and requires the following, implemented as of November 1, 2025:
Trainings
Completion of Brainspotting Phase 1, Phase 2, and one Advanced Training of your choice, which can be a Master Class, Phase 3, Phase 4, or Phase 5. Trainings can be completed in person or online.
50 Brainspotting Sessions
Documentation of 50 Brainspotting sessions representing the frame set-ups from Phases 1 and 2, typically completed in the context of clinical or professional work.
6 Consultation Hours
A minimum of 6 hours of consultation with the same Approved Brainspotting Consultant. Please note that only 2 of those hours can be completed before finishing Phase 2. Alternatively, a 5-day Brainspotting Intensive with an Approved Trainer can fulfill this requirement.
Application
Submission of your completed application, payment, documented hours, and a copy of liability insurance to Brainspotting Trainings, LLC. Your consultant will provide their completed Consultant Report to accompany your application. Certification requires agreement to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Practice.
Timeline
Certification must be completed within 2 years of finishing the final course needed to meet certification requirements.
As an Approved Brainspotting Consultant, I can fulfill your required consultation hours and support you through every step of the process.
What I Offer
Individual Consultation Sessions – $200 per session
Single sessions for practitioners at any stage of their Brainspotting journey. Whether you’re working through a specific case, deepening your understanding of the model, or preparing for certification, individual sessions give you dedicated space to do that work.
Six-Session Certification Consultation Package
A structured package designed to take you through your required 6 hours of consultation for certification. We move through the material with intention, covering the frame set-ups, the dual attunement frame, your clinical work, and your documentation, so that by the end you are fully prepared to submit your certification application with confidence.
Investment
Individual consultation sessions are $200 per session.
The six-session certification consultation package is designed to cover your full required hours for certification. Package rate is discussed during the discovery call.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

Recertification Support Is Also Available.
An intensive is a significant and meaningful investment in your healing. Rates are based on the length and structure of your intensive and are discussed during the discovery call, where we design the experience together.
What Becomes Possible
Our work creates ripples of healing that flow to all with whom we are in relationship, and to all those we serve as clients.
When your attunement deepens, so does your clients’ capacity to heal. Practitioners who do this consultation work describe a shift in how they hold the Brainspotting frame. Less efforting. More following. A growing trust in the model and in their own nervous system’s capacity to stay present with their clients in the hard places.
When you heal more of yourself, you can hold more for others. When your attunement expands, your clients can go deeper. When you embody the model rather than just applying it, the work comes alive in a way that technique alone never produces.

Questions You Might Have
Not necessarily. You can begin consultation before completing Phase 2, though please note that only 2 of your 6 required consultation hours can count toward certification before Phase 2 is complete. We can discuss where you are in your training during the discovery call and map out a consultation plan from there.
Yes. As an Approved Brainspotting Consultant, I can fulfill your required consultation hours and provide the Consultant Report needed for your certification application.
You’re very welcome here. Many of the practitioners I work with are already certified and are coming to consultation because they want to expand their attunement, work through specific clinical challenges, or simply go further into the model. Certification is not a prerequisite for consultation.
